Today is the grand opening of the 2008 Premiere Beauty Show. Premiere Beauty Show is a trade show for members of the professional beauty industry and virtually every manufacturer of hair care products, tanning supplies, nail products, and salon equipment exhibit at this show. As you can well imagine, Premiere utilizes many models. However, this show doesn't really choose to use real professional models. The show's exhibitors hold huge casting calls which generate lots of interest from laypeople interested in getting a free hair cut and say $100. Professional models don't work for that, so unfortunately, the Premiere Show is not a show we focus on. Also, many exhibitors require cutting and coloring hair which pro models won't do. As a guest, if you are in the industry, this is a great show. There are lots of cool demos, runway shows etc. This show is closed to the public.
